About This Service

Treatment Costs at a Tertiary General Hospital

How treatment costs are explained and how written estimates are prepared at the Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics Medical Center of Chongqing West District Hospital.

Who We Are

A service built around assessment and a written estimate

Part of a Tertiary Hospital

Chongqing West District Hospital is a modern tertiary general hospital in Chongqing. Its Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics Medical Center opened in April 2026 and operates six coordinated service lines, including reconstructive surgery, aesthetic surgery, and laser- and energy-based procedures.

No Published Prices

This website deliberately publishes no prices, currency amounts or percentages. A figure quoted without examining a patient is not an estimate, it is a guess, and it is not fair to compare a guess with a documented plan. Every patient receives an itemised written estimate for their own case.

One Estimate, Every Component

A written estimate from this centre sets out the surgeon fee, the facility and theatre fee, anaesthesia, materials, laboratory work, garments and follow-up as separate lines, and states plainly which lines are fixed and which depend on findings at surgery.

Our Approach

Education before decision

We believe the most important part of any financial conversation happens before anything is agreed: an honest explanation of what a cost is made of, what an estimate does and does not cover, and what would have to change for it to change. That is why this site leads with explanation rather than a price list.

✓

Written, Not Verbal

An estimate is worth only as much as its paper. We put yours in writing, itemised, naming the surgeon and the procedure, with its terms and its validity period stated.

✓

Plain-Language

We explain fees, funding and payment in clear English, without jargon, so that you can take part in every decision about your own money as well as your own care.

✓

Honest About Limits

An estimate is a prediction, not a guarantee. Findings at surgery, additional stages and complications can change it, and costs differ by surgeon, facility and complexity. We tell you that before you commit, not after.

The Hospital

Chongqing West District Hospital

Chongqing West District Hospital is a tertiary general hospital developed as a major healthcare project for Chongqing, with a planned capacity of more than a thousand beds and several hundred types of advanced medical equipment. More than two hundred specialists with backgrounds at institutions affiliated with Army Medical University practice across more than forty clinical departments, supported by nine major medical centres including the Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics Medical Center.

The hospital's culture, shaped by military medicine, emphasises discipline, rigour, and responsibility in clinical care. For patients considering treatment, the defining advantage is that the full resources of a tertiary hospital — anesthesia, intensive care, imaging, pathology, and transfusion — stand behind every step. That is also why a facility fee at a hospital is not the same thing as a room charge at a stand-alone clinic.

Questions We Welcome

What you are entitled to ask

You are entitled to ask what any line of an estimate is for, which lines are fixed and which are not, what is excluded, what happens financially if the plan changes, what the cancellation terms are, and whether a revision is included. You are entitled to take the estimate away and read it. If any of those questions is unwelcome, that is worth knowing before you commit rather than afterwards.

Start with an assessment and a written estimate

Reach out to arrange an assessment. We examine what is actually needed, explain how the cost of your treatment would be built, and put it in writing as an itemised estimate for your own case — including what it does not cover. There is no obligation to decide anything on the day.
